Event details

futuretense: Bunny Hoova

Wonky jazz hip-pop with a punk edge – Bunny Hoova’s moreish music is hard to define.

Quirky lo-fi sounds, infectious guitar riffs and honest songwriting, filtered through a haze of ethereal production, bring you close to the edge of the familiar.

Recently released debut LONGING owes its distinctive sound to all this plus syncopated melodies coupled with Bunny’s technically impressive vocal technique.

The Quietus praises their voice as ‘an impeccable document of the contorted mix of hope and despair’.

The album explores love, longing and outrage at our wasteful consumer-fuelled society.

On stage, Bunny is joined by their band, William Graham (drums), George Garside (bass) and Carmel Smickersgill (keyboards and guitar).
